We would like to introduce a case study of video production and prototype creation for the spherical drive omnidirectional autonomous mobile platform "TriOrb BASE," commissioned by TriOrb Co., Ltd. We assisted in the 3D modeling of the exterior design, which was originally created in 2D, as well as in the mechanical design, part separation, prototype production of resin parts for the exterior, and video production. Due to the large size of the parts and the timeline considerations, we proposed using vacuum casting with rubber molds for areas requiring high freedom of shape and texture, alongside photopolymerization.
